AWESOME Book Report Idea!

Happy Friday! I am so glad it is the weekend and the sun is shining :)

Real quickly, I just had to share this AMAZNIG book report project idea I stumbled upon the other day when I walked into one of my elementary school's library. Two 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Pascucci and Mrs. Oliff, had their students take part in a "Book Buffet". Each student read a book of their choice and created a 3D representation of a food product that they might see at a buffet. Their yummy model contained all sorts of educational nuggets about their book: characters, setting, problem, solution, genre, opinions, etc.. You HAVE to see how precious these projects turned out. I made a quick little movie trailer that captures all of the students' hard work and creativity:
