Today I brought the digital microscope into the classroom for my students to take a closer look at the bones we found when dissecting owl pellets for a Food Chain lesson. They were amazed with how magnified the bones became when put under the scope. I can't wait to hook this up to my school computer and project it on my SMART board…we could do all sorts of labeling! Last night was our Science Night at school. I ran the "digital microscope station" that was a HIT with both students and their parents! Learning Resources has an awesome digital microscope that our school was able to purchase with Kroger points (they run about $125). Click HERE to take you to the site.
