Kristin, over at iTeach 1:1, wrote a blog post recently that reminded me of the Web 2.0 tool, Thinglink. Thinglink is an EXCELLENT tool that can make your students’ images interactive. If you put your cursor over the Water Cycle picture below and scroll over the target dots, different windows pop up. This is a great way to label diagrams, pictures, etc. Your images can come alive with text, music, videos, and more. The “hotspots” turn your images into multimedia launchers! A fourth grader made this Thinglink on the Water Cycle today. He even embedded a link to the StudyJams video his teacher had shown the class when she had introduced the Water Cycle…impressive!
