Native American Comic Life Posters

Today I worked with a 2nd grade class on making Comic Life Posters on the different Native American tribes they have been studying: Powhatan, Pueblo and Lakota. Comic Life is an amazing program on our school computers that our county purchased. You can take selfies and embed them into your posters or simply use images that you find from copyright free sites like Pixabay or Britannica Image Quest. Once students inserted five pictures into their Comic Life template, we showed them how to add speech bubbles that incorporated important information about their tribe. For instance, one of the kids had his buffalo shouting, "Quick..RUN before the Lakota get us and turn our insides into dinner and our skin into clothes!" They really did a great job in the hour we had for our lesson. Here is an Anitmoto video with their creations:
