The Best Children's Books About Online Learning

The Best Children's Books About Online Learning. With elearning on the rise, we can't forget about read alouds! Use these stories to help students who are now participating in distance learning.

With online learning being the new mode of education for so many, we can't forget the magic about a good read aloud! If you have been following me for awhile, then you know how I am a hoarder collector of tech themed children's books. I even created an extensive list of children's books arranged by topic that you can find HERE. Several authors have been working hard to get relevant children's books about online learning into the hands of teachers and parents. Here are a few that I have added to the tech themed collection this year. Please let me know if you have any other recommendations that could be added to this post!

This story is intended to help students overcome anxiety and struggles associated with virtual learning and is geared towards children ages 3-11.  Mary Nhin teaches children all the things they can do to help prepare for online class before it even begins.

I love the checklist she provides at the end:

Back in April I wrote the blog post: A Short Story About Online Learning that features The Zooming Owl. Currently this story is only available for Kindle but it is fabulous! This timely tale was designed to help teachers and students feel comfortable with the changes online learning might bring and includes a series of reflection questions at the end.
